Yes, you read that right, ANGEL Williams herself in the tournament for the NWA Oklahoma title. ANGEL's got a good shot at it.

I've said in my column (and to his face) that Brandon Groom has 12 pack abs. ANGEL Williams has what has been called "the best abs in the business" so they're gonna be checking out each others' abs. I don't know if Summer Rain is going to appreciate it when Brandon is checking out ANGEL's abs! Summer Rain is no slouch in the abs department herself, they'll be doing a lot of posing.

Will Leather be there with "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Dexter Hardaway? He hails from Tulsa, Alberta, Canada.

My new friend Kassidy will be at the NAW event next Saturday (April 3, 2004). No, I don't know where that show is, she'll have to let me know and if they have a website. (-: I hope that Kassidy had a nice birthday on March 25 and she got lots of presents!

Ivanna B. Eighton is auctioning off the outfit that she wore on her VERY FIRST Slam Hotties Photo Shoot. Be sure to go to Slam Hotties and join.

If you read my column in January and February, you know how bummed I am that Hailey Hatred left EGO leaving Camron Star and her Manager JT Brannum. At a show in Cottageville, West Virginia, Sonya Blackhawk was booked in a match (possibly against Camron Star, but Camron was busy taking over OVW) so JT recruited a new member of EGO! The song "Barracuda" by Heart blared over the loudspeakers as NICOLE STARR came out with JT to wrestle Sonya Blackhawk!

Camron Star and Nicole Starr prove that when the STAR(R)S come out to play, you better get out of the way!

I am an EGOmaniac (and proud of it) and although I just adore Hailey Hatred (she used to be in EGO, I can't help it), Nicole is a welcome addition to EGO, and hopefully Camron thinks so too. "The Master" Johnny Holiday wants to make me an honorary Smooth Criminal, but JT Brannum won't even answer my e-mails! )-: I want to be made an Honorary Smooth Criminal and an honorary member of EGO too!

Here are the results for the Tennessee Mountain Wrestling show from March 20.

Platinum Championship Wrestling presents "The Day After St. Patrick's Day Massacre" March 18th, 2004 at the Platinum Palace in Atlanta, Georgia

This was Platinum Championship Wrestling's first "big show" which they called "A pay-per-view you don't have to pay for." For this show they hired puppet punk band Clobber, who opened the show with a screaming, shrieking song that woke the crowd up. This show saw a bigger crowd to watch PCW then ever, and they laughed to the puppet band as they played from their mini stage.

The show started after Clobber finished, showing what happened on "Stripper Boy" Johnny Daze's date with "White Trash Princess" Miss Dixie. The date seemed to be going well, but the It Boys attacked the both of them in the parking lot. After the tape was shown, Mr. Platinum called the It Boys to the ring and declared that he was delaying the tag match between the It Boys and the team of Johnny Daze and Miss Dixie to give them time to get out of the hospital. The It Boys agreed, as long as they got to host Daze's regular show segment themselves. Mr. Platinum agreed.

Next, Mr. Platinum called Tara the woman of steel to the ring to discuss how she wanted to handle the strange man who dragged her under one of the rings last week and tried to kidnap her. Mr. Platinum brought out security, declaring that since the man who attacked wasn't a wrestler, he would have him arrested if he showed again. Tara didn't want that, she wanted him sanctioned as a PCW wrestler so she could deal with him in the ring. The capacity crowd roared their approval, so Mr. Platinum reluctantly agreed. As Tara continued to talk, the strange man (who was hiding under the ring the whole time) attacked, trying to knock Tara out with a chloroform-soaked rag. She fought him off enough to have Shane Marks come to the ring and fight him off. While Shane was making sure Tara was okay, the man hired the Holland Boys to go to the ring and fight Shane to the outside of the ring. Then the man hit the ring again and knocked Tara out. As he was leaving with Tara draped over his shoulder, Kris Grimm cut him off and wouldn't let him leave with her. The two of them made a match (with Tara's approval) that if the man (who called himself Nicolas Grendel, a collector) won, he could leave with Tara. If Kris Grimm won, Grendel would leave Tara alone.

The first match finally took place after all of that craziness. Highlight wrestled Mustang in the billed final match of their feud. The match started off with the muscular "Ladies Choice" Mustang throwing Highlight around the ring. Highlight found himself struggling to fight off the furious Mustang, finally able to use his high-flying to slow down Mustang. Highlight brought a chair into the ring, and used it as a springboard to leap to the outside of the ring, leveling Mustang. He then brought Mustang to a corner of the ring and hit a leaping heel kick. When he went for the second, Mustang hit him with a spear out of the air and demolished the chair. The two then slowed down significantly, trading move after move. Highlight grabbed a wrench he had hidden earlier, but Mustang avoided the swings, but couldn't avoid a Highlight-canrana. When Highlight attempted another, Mustang stopped it mid-move and lifted Highlight for a tigerbomb. Highlight seized the opportunity to smash Mustang with the wrench, leading to him hitting his "Flying Squirrel" finisher for the win.

The "Holland Boys" of "MVP" Mike Santos and "Renegade" Mark Kodiak came to the ring next, declaring that they were teaming up in preparation for the tag tournament in mid-April. Two wrestlers from England who dubbed themselves "The British Invasion" (Cameron Knite and Jack Hazard, participant in the U.K. Match of the Year last year) came to the ring and wrestled the Holland Boys. The match featured some great mat wrestling, very reminiscent of a European wrestling style. The smaller British Invasion used their speed to offset the powerful Kodiak from the other team, but soon the Holland Boys were dominating, using cagey double-teams to their advantage. In the end, the Brits fought furiously, hitting a breathtaking senton and top-rope splash for a deadly one-two punch that got them the win.

Next, Kid Vegas came to the ring and called out one of the announcers, Jamie Wynters, who he had wrestled (and got pinned by) last week in the three tag-team match. Wynters, trying to discourage Vegas, said he would only wrestle in a "loser leaves town" match. Vegas shockingly agreed, and the match was on. Vegas was the faster of the two, peppering Wynters with kicks and flying clotheslines. Wynters used his superior reach to counter Vegas, and had him set for his finisher, until Vegas smartly countered and draped Wynters across the middle rope for HIS finisher. After leaping across the ring and hitting a legdrop, Vegas pinned Wynters, who had his leg draped across the rope. The referee didn't see it, but Mr. Platinum declared that the match was too important not to restart. Wynters then soon after hit his finisher to score the win and send Kid Vegas packing.

There was a mini-battle royal next between Superstar Harmm, Shane Marks and Tara the woman of steel. The winner was to get a wish granted by Mr. Platinum. Shane wanted himself and Tara to be declared the #1 team for the future tag tournament, Tara wanted to be the special guest referee in Kris Grimm's match with Nicolas Grendel, and Superstar Harmm wanted to fight for the PCW title next week. Superstar Harmm dispatched the two smaller wrestlers out of the ring to earn a #1 contender's spot.

Nicolas Grendel took on Kris Grimm next, and spent most of his debut match getting kicked and pummeled by the righteous Grimm. When Grimm went for a handspring elbow, he leveled Grendel and the referee. When he checked on the ref, Grendel nailed Grimm with a lifting slam, knocking Grimm out. Tara came into the ring with a chair to the crowd's delight, and went to swing it at Grendel, stopped in the air. The two smiled at one another, and Grendel picked up Grimm for Tara and she hit Grimm! Grendel scored the pin easily afterwards, and Tara and Grendel declared that they were a team, and had only staged the "stalking" of Tara to get Grendel sanctioned as a wrestler.

The It Boys hosted their show "Knee Deep In It" where they talked about themselves, and introduced the "8 Simple Rules of Being an It Boy." The crowd booed endlessly.

After the intermission, where Clobber played again and closed out their set, the It Boys came to the ring sans opponents. They instructed the referee to count the other team out. When they got to nine, "Stripper Boy" Johnny Daze and Miss Dixie burst through the front door, obviously still feeling the effects of the attack from the It Boys. The referee finished the count, but Mr. Platinum correctly observed that no bell had rung to officially start the match in the first place, so the tag match would go on as scheduled. The It Boys were surprised early by the teamwork of Dixie and Daze, but soon their injuries caught up with them. The It Boys showed why they are the #1 team in PCW, using the referee, the ropes, and everything else to their advantage. They isolated the injured Daze, battering him throughout the match. Daze managed to finally make a tag, and Dixie came in like a woman scorned, battering "Godsend" Jason Aerial around the ring. As Ryan "The Bull" fought with Daze outside of the ring, Dixie took advantage of the ref's confusion to deck Aerial with a guitar and pick up the win for her team! The It Boys brutalized the lovebirds afterwards, however.

The main event was last, with Ice L.T. challenging for the PCW title against champion Jay Fury. The match was a lumberjack match, and every time either participant hit the floor, their enemies were quick to get a few cheap shots in. At the end of the brutal match, Jay hit one of his finishers, a floating, twisting kick. Ice L.T. got his foot on the rope at the two-count, but the referee didn't see it, making Jay Fury the winner. Mr. Platinum declared that there would be a rematch, with everyone banned from ringside, and it would be for the PCW.in a taped-fist match (the first in Georgia in 20 years) with Mr. Platinum himself as the guest referee!
