I was sad to hear about the death of Spider. I never knew him, but a lot of people I know and love did. Luscious Lily and Ariel both talked about him in their LiveJournals, and several others talked about him in their LiveJournals and at the GLORY Board.

Ariel is taking it pretty hard, and I really feel bad for her. Ariel is still on tour in Mexico, and she can't be there for Danny's friends and family, she can't even make the funeral or anything. Ariel and Danny went to The Dance at The GLORY Convention together last October. I wanted to go so badly, and hopefully each of The New Glamour Girls (Ariel and Tara Charisma) would have saved a dance for me.

Ariel's mantra is "Keep Smiling" but I don't think she can right now. I don't think I could if I was in her shoes either (I couldn't even fit into Ariel's shoes, I wear size 13's). I wish I could give her a great big hug right now. The DVD of The GLORY Convention *still* isn't available yet. I know it will have the matches from Sunday, but I don't know what it will feature from Saturday and the Dance, or even if they did any filming that Saturday.

Ariel has won GLORY Girl of the Month all year so far, and I think she won in October, November and December too. She'll break Syren's record. Ariel, you're probably the most loved person at GLORY, hopefully a lot of people are there for you.

So while you're praying for Kameo, say one for Ariel too, she's taking Danny's death hard. I feel really bad for "The Sweetheart of MY Yahoogroup." I love you Ariel.

Tanker celebrates his birthday on June 30. He updated my Yahoogroup about his condition. After his match on May 21, Tanker exited the ring only to find that his leg turned around backwards at the knee! One foot was pointing 180 degrees the wrong way as he tried to get to the back. The Referee didn't know what to do, but finally he helped Tanker get to the back. Tanker lost the feeling in his legs twice during the match.

I hope that Tanker is able to get back in the ring and wrestle.

Talking about SCW and NWA Florida and not mentioning Tiziana just doesn't feel right. Am I supposed to not talk about her anymore and take her out of the column? I saw Butch Reed in 1984 in person, so it will be cool to finally get to meet him. The team of "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and Hercules Hernandez beat the team of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes at The Downtown Assembly Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 26, 1984 at a Mid South Wrestling show. Either Butch or Herc pinned The Dream, and it was just an ordinary tag team match, it was a COME DRESSED AS YOU ARE BUNKHOUSE TAG TEAM MATCH, The Speciality of The Dream, if you will!

My girl FeRRaRi has only had three matches, and she's lost all three of them, but I couldn't be happier for her. We'll look back at this when she wins three matches in a row and just laugh. Yes, FeRRaRi was the Mystery Opponent for The 21st Century Fox at The Old School Pro Wrestling show.

The OSPW show "RESURRECTION" took place May 28 in Tonawanda NY. The Show was held at "THE OSPW ARENA", Also known as The Eldridge Bicycle Club, and saw a SOLD OUT crowd (over 200 people). 1. Tommy Mandrake beat Elian Habanero (with Jessy Jones) to retain The OSPW TV Title.

   Tommy was scheduled to face Buck 10 of The Sports Generation, but due to circumstances beyond control, Buck 10 couldn't make it. Jessy Jones had Elian take his spot. Even with the change in opponents, The Sports Generation could not take The TV Title away from Tommy Mandrake

2. The Nightmare Dre Gibson beat Superbeast in a battle of the big men.

3. "The Sport" Jessy Jones beat "The Great Pumpkin" Johnny Swift.

   Elian Habanero got involved and hit Swift with his own pumpkin. A very fast, and uptempo match that saw Jessy Jones victorious.

4. Mike McGee beat "Glamorous" Glenn Dillion (with Sir Adam Sabre) to become the NEW OSPW Hardcore Champion.

   This match was a "Loser Leaves Town" match and a huge end to the long feud between Dillion and McGee. Mike McGees son came out to the ring for a very emotional moment to give his father his first title belt in Old School Pro Wrestling. Then, The Reverand Anthony Kingdom James came out. He offered Mike McGee "salvation", an offer McGee did not want! Kingdom then pulled out a baton and beat down The Hardcore Champion. He then told the OSPW Audience, that THEIR LIGHT, THEIR SALVATION, THEIR GOD has come to OSPW!!!

5. Danny Magic and Ryot beat Tyger Smith and Kazz in tag team action.
6. The Nightmare Dre Gibson came out and interfered and during a post match beat down, Superbeast hit the ring to save his friends from Next Era Wrestling. Tyger Smith motioned to Danny Magic a challenge...The Tygers Den Vs. Danny Magic, Ryot, and Dre Gibson at "REVENGE". After the match, in the locker room, CEO Rebecca Halen signed the NEW Superstars to OSPW, and as full members of the OSPW roster, the challenge Tyger issued to Danny Magic was signed, sealed, and will be delivered at "REVENGE".
7. The 21st Century Fox beat Ferrari to retain The OSPW Womens Title.

   The Fox was originally scheduled to face Aurora, but due to Aurora being injured at another show, GM Danny Magic forced The Fox to face her old manager/friend Ferrari. It was a very sportsman like match up. No dirty tactics, No cheating, and handshakes before and after the match. A very Honorable contest between these two fan favorites.

   I didn't correct the laziness in the above paragraph, her name is FeRRaRi, not "Ferrari." Capitalize those letters, lazy people!

8. Flatline beat Trip (with Rey Rey).

   The Sugar Coated Superstar Trip and his gorgeous manager Rey Rey were definitly the fan favorites giving Candy and OSPW Stickers to all the kids in the crowd. A very fast paced, high flying match that saw a superkick go wrong to the face of Referee Hardcore Jonathan Ashe. Flatline then delivered a huge beating to Trip with a chair, and then picked up the unconscious referee and moved his hand to count to 3.

9. The Sons of Thunder (with Thunder) beat The Davidsons (with The Darkside) via DQ.

   Headgames were played in this Old School match up, as the Davidson Brothers introduced their new manager, The OLD MANAGER of The Sons of Thunder..."THE DARKSIDE". The action was very intense, and then Scott Davidson lost his cool and hit Referee Christopher Burns. As the 4 men brawled, Burns called for the bell and DQ'ed The Davidsons. The Darkside moved to the back, followed by The Davidsons...and you can bet this is not over...as the re-match has already been signed for OSPW's "REVENGE".

10. Marc Mandrake beat Eddie Osbourne to become the NEW OSPW NY Champion...but then in a RE-MATCH (30 SECONDS LATER), Eddie Osbourne regained the title to once again become OSPW NY Champion.

    The Buffalo Street Fight 3 was ALL OVER the arena and included everything from DVD's onto chairs, barbwire, a barbwire 2X4, a fork, and a fans cane. Marc beat Eddie and then Flatline hit the ring and hit Marc Mandrake with a chair from behind. GM Danny Magic then told the timekeeper to ring the bell as a re-match starts RIGHT NOW....Eddie then quickly pinned Marc to regain his NY Title. As Marc was being beat down by Eddie Osbourne, Flatline, and the rest of Magic's henchmen, Ferrari ran to the back to get Tommy Mandrake who cleared the ring swinging a chair. GM Danny Magic then set up the match for "REVENGE"...NY Champion Eddie Osbourne and Flatline Vs. Marc Mandrake and TV Champion Tommy Mandrake in a NO DQ Tag Team Match. The Mandrake Brothers (who still hate each other) got in each others face while Ferrari tried to calm them down. Marc and Tommy's dad got in the ring and tried to calm down his sons, but then OSPW Director of Talent Relations Chris Halen ran out and told security to get in the ring and seperate The Mandrakes. Will the Mandrakes be able to co-exsist as a tag team against Osbourne and Flatline????
