"Handsome" Brandon Tripod has not only relinquished the GWF World Cruiserweight Title, but he has quit The GWF! Not only that, Tripod posted on The GWF Message Board to say that he, his tag team partner Twist, "Da Playboy" Christopher Martinez and Miss Coquillette, and presumabely Alexandria Draven (the valet for TNT) have all quit The GWF as well.
Then The GWF US Champion Prometheus posted at The GWF Message Board that he has also given up The GWF US Title and quit the company as well, and so has his friend Slade Draven.
This really shakes things up tonight at The GWF show. The World Cruiserweight and US Championships are now vacant.
In a Pittsburg Grudge Match to determine the #1 Contendors for The GWF World Tag Team Titles
Lord Steven Lord and Tanker vs. Punisher and Angel, The Caribbean Connection
At the last GWF show on November 13, Tanker defeated The Punisher. They have a feud going back to Tanker's first match ever (at an MWF show on February 15, 2003) that saw Tanker and Snap lose to Punisher and his then tag team partner Tarantula. Tanker and Punisher met in a singles match on March 15, 2003 that saw The Punisher win. Tanker gained experience over the past two years and Tanker used what he learned to his advantage at the last GWF show. Tanker had Lord Steven Lord in his corner, and Angel is the current tag team partner of Punisher, so the two tag teams are going to collide tonight.

Obviously this match has changed. I don't know if Albynator will automatically win The GWF World Cruiserweight Title or if they will be a match in which the winner of the match wins it or what.

This match won't be happening either.
Shadow vs. Magnum XL
Magnum XL wrestles in Sooner Pro Wrestling in Oklahoma (home fed of Fuel and Anarchy, Running Wolf, Kinjitzu and a few others in The GWF). I don't know anything about Magnum XL, so I really can't comment on this match. The Shadow fought Brandon Groom (current UCW Champion) to a double countout at the last GWF show. The Shadow is a former GWF World Champion, so I say that Magnum XL is in for a rough night.
World Tag Team Titles
The Innovators Anarchy and Fuel defend their titles against Running Wolf and Kinjitzu
At the last UCW show, Anarchy and Fuel told me they were looking forward to this match. I know that Anarchy and Fuel are brothers and have chemistry as a team, but I don't know if Running Wolf and Kinjitzu have ever teamed before. They may have, but I'm sure that Fuel and Anarchy have had more matches as a team. I see Anarchy and Fuel holding the belts for a LONG time.
Twist vs. Kanine Skrappy. This match won't be happening either. I don't know if Twist was getting a Title Shot at K9's GWF World Title or not. Kanine will need another opponent tonight.
Main Event United States Championship
The GWF US Champion "The American Nightmare" Prometheus defends his title against Shocker
Kanine vs. Shocker would be a great match, but Shocker was expecting a US Title Match. Will Shocker get the US Title? Will he get a GWF World Title shot? Could Shocker leave tonight as both GWF World AND US Champ?

Brandon Groom and Summer Rain were on the GWF Flyer but Summer was already booked for the Southern Championship Wrestling show tonight. I would think that Brandon Groom would be at The SCW show tonight as well. You would think they would advertise that fact, since Brandon Groom has 12 pack abs, he is the former NWA OK Champ, the current UCW Heavyweight Champ, and Groom has appeared on such TV shows as "Heat" and "Velocity!"
Summer Rain will wrestle Tasha Simone at The Southern Championship Wrestling show in Muskogee, Oklahoma! Tasha gets to wrestle quite a bit more than Summer does, because Tasha does a LOT of traveling! Summer does hold wins over former NWA World Ladies Champion Char Starr and Summer has even beaten the incomparable Lust! Lust was easily 200 pounds. This is going to be quite a match.
At the last GWF show, Summer Rain got up on the ring apron, distracted The Referee and then she turned around 180 degrees and pointed at me! I don't know what she told The Referee I was doing. I did take her picture while she was on the apron, that may have bothered her!
Hopefully Tasha will have nothing but great things to say about Summer Rain after tonight and Tasha can tell promoters about Summer so she can get booked more places and get more opportunities to wrestle.
The NWA Oklahoma Website says that "Mr. Saturday Night" Micheal Barry with Sassy Merlot in his corner will defend the NWA Oklahoma Title against Tim Warcloud.
MSN was the first NWA OK Champ, and he's the BEST NWA OK Champ too! It's too bad that Lollipop will be in Texas on January 15 instead of at The SCW show. Sassy will be there in MSN's corner.
MSN won the NWA Oklahoma Title on April 23, 2004 in Ponca City, Oklahoma in an Oklahoma 6 Shot Match in which Contestants entered the ring every 2 minutes. The other 5 contestants were Brandon Bishop, "Big Money" Chris Matthews, Brandon Groom, Big John O'Malley, and Al Jackson.
MSN pinned Groom with the help of Lollipop as she left the broadcast booth and pushed Groom's foot off the bottom rope thus referee George Knight made the 3 count. Yay for Lollipop!
Groom won the title in Bristow, Oklahoma on May 8 (I was there). Sassy Merlot was not at the show on May 8 because she was at a Mid States Wrestling Show in Arkansas that night. MSN had Leather in his corner for that match, and former NWA World Ladies Champion Char Starr came out to help MSN, but Groom still managed to prevail.

I saw The Fantastics beat The Midnight Express at a Mid-South Wrestling show on August 26, 1984 in the Downtown Assembly Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. (I don't know who pinned who). My Dad went to the Box Office at the day of the show and got two second row tickets for $25 each. That show was loaded with talent, and the Main Event was Kerry Von Erich vs. Ric Flair and Ric put The NWA World Title on the line. Mid-South wasn't even affiliated with The NWA! "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and the late, great "Hercules" Hernandez wrestled "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes in a match that THE SPECIALITY OF THE DREAM, the BUNKHOUSE MATCH, but it wasn't just a Bunkhouse Match, it was a TEXAS TORNADO BUNKHOUSE MATCH with all four men in the ring at the same time. Dusty Rhodes got pinned in the match!

Rich Criado isn't going to be at the show after all. Sequel and Vordell have had more time to prepare as a team. Sequel and Vordell both want to get their hands on Jason Hexx. All of the ladies at the show want to get their hands on the SEXY BEAST FROM THE FAR EAST Jason Hexx! (I deserve a free autographed picture of Jason Hexx for saying that!)

Leon Scott hasn't gotten a title shot at any title in SCW in a LONG time. He and Jason Hexx wrestled Axis and Python when The Hellraizors were SCW Tag Team Champs. Leon wants gold, but it's a safe bet that NO ONE "DIGS GOLD" LIKE $O CAL VAL! Valerie's gonna kill me for that! I'm sorry Val, I still love you.
The Heartbreak Xpress Sean and Phil Davis with "Gorgeous" Gary Garvin in his corner defend the SCW Tag Team Titles against the unlikely team of Aaron Epic and David Mercury.
Why are Epic and Mercury an unlikely team? Because they WRESTLED EACH OTHER at the last SCW Show! They developed respect for each other during that match, but The HBX are brothers and have wrestled together as a team MANY times! The HBX have the advantage going into this match, and they have "Gorgeous" Gary Garvin in their corner.
Johnny Schumacher defends the SCW Cruiserweight Championship against former champion Chasyn Rance of Team Vision and $o Cal Val may be in his corner.
Chasyn Rance held four different Cruiserweight Titles in Florida AT THE SAME TIME! Chasyn went to Calgary and he was the VERY LAST PERSON to train in The Hart Dungeon. So Chasyn learned even more than he knew and he's got $o Cal Val in his corner, and Val digs gold. (She'll never chat with me in AIM again, I still love you Valerie!)
For the SCW Southern Heavyweight Title, the 6' 10" Korean Monster Ryze defends his belt against "The Man" Manny Montana of Team Vision and $o Cal Val may be in his corner.
Manny Montana is the ONLY PERSON in SCW that has ever pinned Ryze! Can he do it again? Will MSL or $o Cal Val be in Manny's corner? Will Ryze prevail in this match? Will I throw in another "dig" about how MY PAL $o Cal Val "digs" gold? I still love you Val!
Valerie Elizabeth Wyndham could very well walk out of the Eastmonte Civic Center with all of the singles titles in SCW! She could buy The Heartbreak Xpress and make them turn against Gorgeous Gary Garvin and $o Cal Val could have all of the gold in SCW, because $o Cal Val digs gold! But first MSL will have to keep his gold in a match against "The Franchise Player" and "The Belle Of The Brawl" will be there too.
