"Handsome" Brandon Tripod (GWF World Cruiserweight Champion) defeated "Da Playboy" Christopher Martinez with Miss Coquillette in a clean scientific match (Tripod and Playboy were the tag team known as "Da Playaz Club")

Twist defeated The Specialist with a shoulderblock off of the top rope followed by Twisted Head Change. (Billy Gunn uses a faster version of Twisted Head Change, but he stole it from Twist!)

"The Innovators" Fuel and Anarchy defeated "The Caribbean Connection" The Punisher and Angel to win the GWF World Tag Team Titles. Fuel hit Angel with a chair and then Fuel fell to the mat. The Referee saw the chair in the ring but he didn't know who hit who. Fuel put an arm over Angel and the Ref made the three count.

Tanker defeated Big Bad Vicious following a Double Underhook DDT. Tanker gave BBV a beatdown after the match and The Punisher made the save.

The Shadow defeated Prometheus (GWF US Champ) by DQ when Kanine Skrappy hit the ring. Prometheus is still the GWF US Champ. "Sweet Dreams" Gary Gram and "The Seven Year Bitch" Mary Monroe hit the ring to chase off Kanine and Prometheus.

Yes, that's right, The Bitch is back!

Kanine Skrappy (GWF World Champ) defeated "Sweet Dreams" Gary Gram with Mary Monroe to retain the
title.

After the match, Prometheus hit the ring and The Shadow made the save.

The Commissioner said that at the next show, The Shadow and Gary Gram will team up against Kanine
Skrappy and Prometheus and BOTH BELTS will be on the line in a Texas Tornado Match!

Also at the next show, Fuel and Anarchy will defend the titles against Punisher and Angel. The National Guard Armory in Pittsburg, Kansas will not be available as a venue in September (and maybe October too) but The GWF wants to have a show in Pittsburg Kansas in September anyway. Hopefully they can find another venue.

For those of you that don't know, since the name Mary Monroe makes you think of Marilyn Monroe, I once said (in a column about a year ago) that Mary Monroe starred in the movies "The Seven Year Bitch" and "How to Bury a Millionaire" since those are take-offs of Marilyn Monroe movie titles. So from time to time, I refer to Mary as "The Seven Year Bitch." It's sort of like how I'm the only one that calls Sassy Merlot "The Daughter of Aphrodite." (-:

(I did NOT mention that the Marilyn Monroe movie "Niagara" rhymes with "Viagra"!)

I got home from the GWF show and my TV/VCR combo was taping Smackdown. The WWE announced two matches for the WWE show in Joplin, Missouri on Monday, September 27
