First off, (the VERY lovely) April Hunter and Brendan, her webmaster, have made a website for Slyk Wagner Brown. Check it out at www.SlykWagnerBrown.NET. April did most of the photography herself. If you have a wrestling website, please add a link to Slyk Wagner Brown's website on your links page, okay?
Last weekend, I purchased the magazine "Women Of Wrestling" made by the folks that make PWI. They want the readers to rank the 100 most beautiful women in wrestling, and they left April Hunter off of their list, and we can't write women in! What's up with that? April Hunter would be in my Top 5 AT LEAST! By the way, I read in a wrestling newsletter that the new issue of Playboy with Elektra in it is now on sale. Anybody know for sure if it's on sale now?
Here are IWA Mid-South match results from the June 26th show. Sabu will in IWA Mid-South this Saturday Night, and Abdullah The Butcher will be on the July 7th card. The IWA Mid-South news comes from the IWA Mid-South Newsletter.
IWA MID-SOUTH NEWS FOR 6/27/01
----------------------------------------------
by Stacy McMackin, Moderator
IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling presented another card at the House of Hardcore in the township of Charlestown, IN this past Tuesday night, 6/26. Here are your results...
1. Richard X def. Necro Butcher. Chris Hero interfered to help Richard X win as Necro Butcher is the number 1 contender to fellow Superhero Rugby Thug Trent Baker's IWA Mid-South Heavyweight title and will be wrestling Rugby on Saturday.
2. Short Dog (a midget aligned with Mad Man Pondo and Hido) def. Cash Flo for the second straight week again with help from Mad Man Pondo.
3. Hido with help from Short Dog and Mad Man Pondo def. Corporal Robinson.
4. Terek the Great and Suicide Kid double pinned Chris Hero to have dual winners in the three way dance. Tarek and Kid never came to blows against each other. The entire match was Hero fighting off both of them. The finish came after both Tarek and Kid each hit top rope ranas and split leg moonsaults and then Tarek hit an X-Factor onto a chair and then Kid hit a triple jump moonsault and both men pinned Hero.
5. The main event was supposed to be Mean Mitch Page/Ian Rotten vs. Mad Man Pondo/Hido. Earlier in the night, a promo was cut by Pondo and Hido complaining about how the other wrestlers kept running in and interfering in their matches. Mitch asked Ian to look into the camera and tell the guys in the back to stay back there no matter what and to let Mitch and Ian beat Hido/Pondo by themselves and that if any of them came out they would be fired. As soon as the bell rang, Mitch turned on Ian and it became a 3 on one beat down. Ian was left a bloody mess and Hido shaved his head. Patti eventually went into the back and assured the others that they wouldn't be fired so Tarek and Suicide Kid ran out to make the save but they were beat down. Necro Butcher and Corporal Robinson then came out with light tubes. This allowed Ian, Kid and Tarek to make it to the back and a challenge was issued for a tag match. The match started and Corporal was dominated most of it. As soon as he went for the tag to Necro, Chris Hero ran out and attack Necro Butcher with a leather belt. He left Necro a bloody mess. Cash Flo ran out and attacked Pondo while the ref was with Hero/Necro and Patti was distracting Mitch. He hit the Oh Shit Legdrop all the way across the ring and pulled Corporal onto Pondo for the pinfall.
IWA returns to the House of Hardcore (1304 Highway 62) in the township of Charlestown, IN this coming Saturday night, 6/30. Tickets will be $10 and $8.
Featured on the card will be the return to the IWA of the one and only SABU! Full lineup to be announced in the coming days. Keep calling the IWA hotline at (502) 569-1701 for further information.
Then... on Saturday, July 7th, it's "EXTREME HEAVEN 2001" featuring Steve Corino, The Blue Meanie, Jasmin St. Clair, and just announced... ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER, as he teams with Ian Rotten to battle Mad Man Pondo and "Mean" Mitch Page! Mark your calendars, folks. It will be an event not to be missed.

----------------------------------------------
Directions to the IWA House Of Hardcore From Louisville: Take I-65 North to exit 6A. From there you will take exit 10B. This leads you into Charlestown, Indiana. Follow that road for about 7 miles (stay in the right lane because it will split with Indiana-3). Past the split, you will come across a gravel road next to a sign for IWA Wrestling. Take a right on that gravel road and the IWA House of Hardcore will be on your left side. If coming from the North: Take I-65 South to exit 6A. Then follow the directions above.

Christopher Daniels will face NWA/ECCW Heavyweight Champion DR. LUTHER on June 29th in Surrey. Some questionable tactics allowed THE BACKWOODS MILITIA to keep their Tag Team Belts over the GOD and CHANCE BECKETT (with some help from BUNNY) retained his title against SCOTTY MAC in an AWESOME high flyin' match. JUGGERNAUT kept his Hardcore title by DESTROYING BRIAN BEDLAM.
