What most fans and employees of Mid American Wrestling viewed as an excellent article a week ago in in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel -- an article which did not paint the promotion or its hardcore style matches in a negative way -- has ultimately led to the company losing its main venue since 1995, the Knights of Columbus hall on 92nd Street in West Allis. Due to negative reaction from outspoken religious groups after the article ran in the paper, the Knights will no longer rent the building to MAW for future live events. Despite losing Knights, MAW will continue on in a new venue in the Milwaukee area that has yet to be determined. On August 25, in Detroit, Michigan, at St. Andrew's Hall, Detroit Pro Wrestling debuts. Here is the lineup: Match 1: 8 Man Cruiserweight Tornado Match featuring: Chris Saban, Rick Solid, Hyzaya, Gavin Starr, Kamikaze Kid, 8 Pac, Amazing N8 Matson, and Ref Jimmy Jacobs.
