--NO ROPE EXPLODING BARBED WIRE MATCH 6/16 IN MUSKEGO!!
--MAW HARDCORE CUP 2001 VIDEO NOW AVAILABLE!!

Mid American Wrestling returned to the Knights of Columbus in West Allis, WI this past Sunday evening, 6/3. Many thanks to those fans who chose to come see MAW over a Bucks playoff game!! Here are your results...

1. First up was THE 3rd ANNUAL MAW STREET FIGHT FANS BRING THE WEAPONS BATTLE ROYAL (winner to face IAN ROTTEN later in the evening to determine the #1 Contender to MAW World Heavyweight Champion HARDCORE CRAIG). PETER B. BEAUTIFUL was announced the winner of the royal after being beaten to a pulp by THE SKULL KRUSHER (who delivered some 25+ brutal chops to the chest of PBB). Skull took the microphone after destroying the Hardcore Homosexual, and asked the fans if they would rather see him face Ian Rotten later in the night, or watch Peter B. take more of a beating from Ian. The fans chose to throw a lamb to the slaughter, and by ovation elected PBB to face Ian later in the night.

2. Shoot fighter ADRIAN SERRANO made short work of referee SCOTT DeMARC (w/ DP & CM Punk), knocking him out with a roundhouse kick to the back of the head.

3. "Classic" COLT CABANA pinned CM PUNK (w/ DP) following a double underhook suplex into an over the shoulder sit-down backbreaker after roughly 15 minutes of action. Post-match, Prazak put the boots to Cabana to no effect, and Punk confronted Prazak, telling him he was out of his mind. Punk congratulated Cabana on the microphone and asked the fans if they wanted to see him nail DP. Just as he was about to nail his own manager, Punk turned and laid out Cabana with a Pepsi Plunge (top rope pedigree).

4. THE SKULL KRUSHER defeated both DEREK ST. HOLMES, ESQUIRE & MANSERVANT QUENTIN in a handicap match.

5. DINO BAMBINO pinned "Dysfunction" KURT KRUEGER in a great high flying contest, following a Dino Bomb (an over the shoulder backbreaker into a DDT).

6. "The Double D's" FRANKIE DeFALCO & JASON DUKES retained the MAW Tag Team Titles against "Love Machine" MATT LONGTIME & "Britney Spears' Boyfriend" CHUCKIE SMOOTH when both teams wrestled to a double disqualification.

7. IAN ROTTEN destroyed PETER B. BEAUTIFUL in the final match of the night, using all of the remaining weapons from the battle royal, to retain his position as the #1 Contender to the MAW Championship. During the match, promoter CARMINE DeSPIRITO interfered, hitting Ian from behind with a pool cue, to no avail, as Ian pinned PBB with a double underhook DDT. Post-match, Ian promised the fans that Carmine would get a worse beating than PBB after he wins the MAW World Heavyweight Title from HARDCORE CRAIG on 6/16 in Muskego, WI... where the two will square off in the first ever in MAW No-Rope Exploding Barbed Wire Match!

Mid American Wrestling presents "Beer, Bombs, Blood & Barbed Wire" on Saturday night, June 16th at K.P.'s Classics, located at I-43 & Hwy 164 in Muskego/Big Bend, WI, just 15 minutes from Milwaukee! This is an outdoor event, and bell time is 7pm. Tickets are $15 and are available in advance at K.P.'s Classics.

In the main event, Hardcore Craig will defend the MAW World Heavyweight Title against #1 contender Ian Rotten in the first-ever in MAW No-Rope Exploding Barbed Wire Match! This is going to make midwest hardcore wrestling history, folks. Not to be missed!

Plus, Dino Bambino will take on "Dysfunction" Kurt Krueger in a return match from this past Sunday, Longtime & Smooth battle Dukes & DeFalco in a Falls Count Anywhere matchup for the MAW Tag Team Titles, and much more!

Match highlights included: Rollin Hard delivered a FLAMING karate chop to both men. Rotten was pressed slammed by both men onto a log cabin of glass sitting on top of several steel chairs on the floor. Ian at one point, with the shoulder straps to his tights pulled down, was given 8 consecutive lightbulb shots to his bare back.Mitch Page executed a Vader bomb on Ian, on top a log cabin of glass. The winner of the brutal main event, which involved some 200+ lightbulb tubes... Ian Rotten!

KOTDM 2001 will be available on home video by the end of the week. It will be at least 2 tapes long and is possible that it could be 3 tapes. Pre-orders are being accepted for the video for a total of $30 plus $4.95 shipping, or you can get them at the building minus the shipping. Pre-orders will be accepted until July 1st. After July 1st the price will be $40.

Directions to the IWA House Of Hardcore From Louisville: Take I-65 North to exit 6A. From there you will take exit 10B. This leads you into Charlestown, Indiana. Follow that road for about 7 miles (stay in the right lane because it will split with Indiana-3). Past the split, you will come across a gravel road next to a sign for IWA Wrestling. Take a right on that gravel road and the IWA House of Hardcore will be on your left side. If coming from the North: Take I-65 South to exit 6A. Then follow the directions above.
