In today's Indyvelopments I have news on Simon Diamond and a few shows that he will be on with Dawn Marie. I've got match results from a NWA New Jersey show that featured Chris Candido with Tammy Lynn Sytch vs. Big Dick Dudley in the main event. Julio Dinero was at that show as well. I also have some match results from Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling that featured Steve Corino. I have some World Class Championship Wrestling Match Results and news on Kevin Northcutt vs. Mr. Wrestling III. I also have some news on Stu Hart.

But first I have to give a shoutout to my Boys, no, make that my BOYZ! Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, The Backseat Boyz, were on Sunday Night Heat as "The Backseat Dudleys". Now on with today's edition of Indyvelopments.

The following is about Simon Diamond and there are a few show dates that he and Dawn Marie will be on. Be sure to visit their websites:

**Chairshots Radio is broadcasted weekly on 88.1 WBLQ FM in Westerly, Rhode Island and is available for download at http://www.chairshots.com. Your hosts are Rod Siciliano and Brent Fusaro. Scheduled for next week is the quick return of Jerry "The King" Lawler, so be sure to check it out!

Simon Diamond:
- He says Hi and gives some indy dates of where Dawn and himself will be appearing at. May 4th in New Jersey; May 5th in Newport, Deleware (ECWA); May 25th in Indiana, Pennsylvania; May 26th in Chicago and they will be traveling to Canada in June.

- He's been running into a lot of old ECW faces on the road at the indy shows but misses being on the road with the guys all the time. He says they had a lot of fun.

- Thinks it helps having Paul Heyman in a high position in the WWF. He says one of the most important parts of the wrestling business is knowing people, but in the WWF you have to have the ability and the look above anything else. They want people with potential star power.

- They talk about a report that some of the old ECW guys are upset over Spike Dudley being picked up before any of them. He believes its wrong for anyone to say that. He puts over Spike and says that he wouldn't think of doing half of the stuff that he does. He says that Spike is unique and marketable and different from what a lot of people see.

- He had conversations with WCW before the buyout occurred and he was having some talks with Heyman about things. The roof fell in on WCW before he could get his tryout however.

- He talks Yankees with Brent for a while. Rod is an Orioles fan. Simon is a huge Yanks fan and was there when David Wells' pitched his perfect game.

Next up is a little information on Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch. Check out their website at www.CandidoSytch.com.

April 7, 2001 - Tower City, PA NWA EAST & SEGI

- Slayer (with Dapper Johnny Falco) defeated Dave Mysterio. Dapper Johnny did an excellent job on the mic "warmly" greeting the good people of Tower City. Slayer retained his title.

- The Patriot defeated Pat Tanaka in a flag match, when Big Dick Dudley stormed the ring to alert the referee to Tanaka's shenanigans. The match continued with the Patriot victorious. Patriot was well received by the Tower City fans.

-Vincent (Virgil) of the NWO defeated Julio Deniero from ECW. Julio attempted to avoid wrestling that night, explaining that he had suffered an ankle injury, but was forced to compete after all.

Intermission - the beautiful Tammy Lynn Sytch and Big Dick Dudley did polariods in the ring, while Chris Candido and Vincent signed autographs at the merchandise tables.

-Tag team match involving central & western PA Indy workers (my apologies for not getting the details on this particular match).

-MAIN EVENT: Chris Candido, with Tammy Lynn Sytch, challenged Big Dick Dudley, with Michelle Monroe. for the Hardcore Championship in an Extreme Tables & Ladder match. A wild encounter with Candido taking some incredible bumps! Lovely Tammy causing havoc outside the ring, and eventually being handcuffed to the ring by Michelle! After gratuitous, back & forth use of the ladder & table, Dudley managed to retain the strap.

Next is some match results from Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling. Visit The ECCW website at www.eccw.com.
"The King of Old School" Steve Corino (who I interviewed for my website last year) teamed with one of my favorite tag teams, the gOd, The Glamour Order of Discipline, "Gorgeous" Michelle Starr and "Loverboy" Johnny Canuck. There are two guys that I'd love to interview for TRP. Yes, "Gorgeous" Michelle is a guy!

Latest on Stu Hart

This was sent out today via the Stampede Wrestling email list:

The latest word available to us is that Stu Hart is continuing to recover well. Mr. Hart was taken to hospital on Thursday, having been in ill health for the two weeks prior. As best we know, he was suffering from heart problems as the result of a bout with pneumonia, and consequently needed to have fluid drained from his lungs and the area surrounding his heart. Friends and family have been in and out to see him in the hospital in Calgary, where he's said to be tired but in positive spirits. It was originally hoped that he would be home for Easter, but it is looking more likely that he will be back early next week.

We hope to have something more concrete for Stu's fans in the next 24 hours. Until then, a special e-mail address has been set up for those who would like to send in their well wishes. They can be sent to GetWellStu@StampedeWrestling.com - each contribution will be printed out and hand delivered to Stu himself. The family would like to thank all those who have already passed along their thoughts and prayers on this Easter weekend.
