IWA Mid-South Wrestling will promote its first event in Philadelphia, PA this Saturday afternoon, June 11. The event will take place at the New Alhambra Sports Center (former ECW Arena/Viking Hall). Bell time is 2 PM. The event is part of a double header of shows that day, with a card later that evening promoted by Combat Zone Wrestling.

My Girl Allison Danger will compete in a three-way bout on the show with IWA Women's Champion MsChif as well as Mickie Knuckles. This is the first time MsChif and Mickie will be appearing on a wrestling event in Philadelphia.

Quickie Results from 5/29

Dan Lawrence pinned Colonel Blatnick after the match was restarted. It was discovered that Blatnick had his feet on the ropes when he pinned Lawrence. When this was discovered the match was restarted and the Miute Man quickly roilled up Blatnick for the victory.

Leatherface (w/ KM Ultra) destroyed Bobby Valentino, Ben Winsmore & Chris Chaos in a gauntlet style match.

Venom & Egotistico Fantastico wrestled "The Huslter's Hitmen" Mr Moore & Mr Jordan to a double countout. After the match, Carmie DeSpirito roughed up ring announcer Joey Eastman while insulting him to his face. Joey remained professional and refused to fight back which infuriated The Hustler even further, so he's forced Joey to face him in a boxing match on June 17th!

Corporal Robinson single handedly captured the tag team titles by defeating both Jason Dukes and Steve Stone in a first blood match.

Silas Young captured the MAW Junior Heavyweight Title in a 2 out of 3 fall contest over Brandon Thomaselli.

Classic Colt Cabana retained his MAW World Title in a Three Way Dance over Dysfunction & Marco Stylz Cordova.

The Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup is proud to announce that former WWE Light Heavyweight and WCW Cruiserweight champion Billy Kidman will be attending Night One of this historic event to cheer on his cousin, Mikey Batts, in his first round matchup with James Gibson. "I've faced Gibson on several occasions so I look forward to giving Mikey some pointers to move on in the tournament. There is so much talent in the tournament this year that it's way too tough to call even the first round winners. I respect all the competitors, but I gotta root for Mikey. This match is a chance for him to show he is read to break from the pack."

Kidman was a standout for years in WCW, not only holding the Cruiserweight title, but also was a key member of both Raven's Flock and The Filthy Animals as well as having a famous feud with Hulk Hogan during the New Blood era.

He went on to the WWE where he was the only WCW competitor to earn cheers from the crowd in his battles with X-Pac (Sean Waltman). In 2004, Kidman briefly held the Smackdown Tag Team Titles with Paul London before the team had a bitter breakup.

Kidman will also be signing autographs and will be available for pictures with the fans Friday Night at the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup! Expect more surprises like this at both nights of JPC 2005!
