--HIDO LOSES TO NECRO; LEAVES TOWN/VACATES TITLE!!
--TOURNAMENT TO CROWN NEW CHAMPION THIS SATURDAY!!
IWA Mid-South Hardcore Wrestling returns to the House of Hardcore (1304 Highway 62) in the township of Charlestown, IN this Saturday night, July 21st. Bell time is 8pm. Tickets are $10 and $8 and will be available at the door. Fan club members can reserve tickets by calling (502) 569-1701. The card will feature a tournament to crown a new IWA World Heavyweight Champion, stemming from what took place last night.
Here are your results from Wednesday night, 7/18...
The show started by playing the full version of Freebird and then all the wrestlers coming out to pay honor to Terry Gordy with a 10 bell salute. Ian and Mad Man Pondo then spoke about their memories of a legend.
1. Necro Butcher def. Hido in the non-title Loser Leave IWA matchup thus forcing Hido to return to Japan. Ian Rotten immediately stripped Hido of the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight title and declared an 8 man tourney on Saturday night to crown the new champion.
Referees Jon Howard and Brent Blades brawled with each other around the building and to the back thus leaving Toolman to peel off his ring announcer shirt to his ref shirt and make the pinfall after Necro choked out Hido with the move Terry Gordy made famous, The Oriental Spike.
Other results and happenings on the show:
2. Ian Rotten def. BJ Whitmer when interference from Jim Fannin backfired.
3. Mean Mitch Page & Rollin Hard def. Cash Flo & Corporal Robinson with help from Jon Howard. Jon was "hurt" and couldn't wrestle so Rollin took his place. Jon then miraculously recovered and interfered and then made the three count.
4. American Kickboxer and Suicide Kid wrestled to a 20 minute draw.
5. Mad Man Pondo and Todd Morton went to a no contest when the Superheroes and MMPs are got into a brawl and then the Superheroes left.
Saturday night's show will be an eight man tourney to crown a new champion after the loss by Hido tonight. Hido was stripped of the title and a tourney set up for Saturday.
A full list of the eight guys will be available shortly.

Copies of the King of the Death Match 2001 Tournament are currently available for $40. It is a two tape set totaling over 6 hours, featuring some of the most violent death matches ever witnessed in pro wrestling.
The KOTDM 2001 video is a multi-camera shoot of the event, which includes locker room interviews with the wrestlers, as well as commentary by Dave Prazak and Axl Rotten, as well as guest color commentators, including American Kickboxer, Jim Fannin, Chris Hero, and Richard X.

Directions to the IWA House Of Hardcore From Louisville: Take I-65 North to exit 6A. From there you will take exit 10B. This leads you into Charlestown, Indiana. Follow that road for about 7 miles (stay in the right lane because it will split with Indiana-3). Past the split, you will come across a gravel road next to a sign for IWA Wrestling. Take a right on that gravel road and the IWA House of Hardcore will be on your left side. If coming from the North: Take I-65 South to exit 6A. Then follow the directions above.
